We are now looking at sending some bank data to Bank of America over the public Internet.
BOA supports pgp. We have gpg, after all, it's free<G>. My position is, "well, let's try it". But it is getting bogged down with technical people that are not technical in this area. My belief is gpg is, perhaps a couple years behind pgp as far as features go. Unless we need the newer/better features, we can stay with gpg. Of course, if one of the sites requires xxx bit encription, and if gpg doesn't support that, well, we may end up buying a copy of pgp. 1. What other differences, that would make a difference, is there between pgp and gpg? 2. If we needed pgp, we would only need 1 license. Is there a vender of pgp for zLinux and what might be the cost of such product?
