Is there any definative documentation, such as an RFC, which states how scp handles the files that it transfers? In particular, I have the Cygwin scp on my Windows XP system. I am running IBM's "Ported Tools" version of OpenSSL and SSHD server on z/OS 1.6. When I do a simple:
scp file [EMAIL PROTECTED]:file The contents of the file on z/OS has automagically been converted from ASCII to EBCDIC.
