Actually, the entry level SPARC boxes really don't cost all that much. At least when compared to similar Itanium2 and POWER configs. In fact, they're pretty competitive with enterprise class x86_64 kit from IBM and HP. The V125, V215 and V245 are priced in the $2k to $5k range, list..
