I'd like to know what you used for that workload if it's publicly available. It sounds like it might be a nice thrasher to use for testing system recoverability and what not.
The workload tested was for a mission critical application in a mid-sized US company. The results were presented at Share FEB07 and Oraclue User Group APR07. The benchmark was intended for internal use only for sizing purposes that were required for the financial and management analysis. We did create test files where we removed confidentiality. However, the programs are proprietary to the business so I suspect that legal will not approve release for public use. The results involved significant organizational changes so they were very closely monitored and audited within our organization. As you can probably tell, there were two camps within the ranks: status-quo and the new platform. This created a lot of debate and due diligence was mandatory. -- Yours truly, Yu ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
