The big difference is that servers are running under 20% (in general).
The mainframe is running at 100%.

One OSA card can support 13,000 sessions (or, so I've been told).
Most z have at least two; four is not unheard of.

So, even with VIPA supporting redundancy, that'a a lot.
And, multiply it by 30.
