My NFS mount command to mount a Linux NFS exported subdirectory with
automatic EBCDIC<->ASCII translation looks like:

  MOUNT FILESYSTEM('SERVER1.ASCII') +
       MOUNTPOINT('/nfs-ascii/server1') +
       PARM('10.143.26.125:/nfs/LIH1,xlat(Y)') +
       TYPE(NFS) +
       MODE(RDWR)

The key is the xlat(Y) parameter.
