I just tossed up a Nagios monitoring thing for a bunch of SLES-10 machines. Still very vanilla. One of the checks I have defined is 'check_load' which displays load data similarly to what is found in 'top'.
Unfortunately, that means NOTHING to my boss, who likes to see %CPU busy. What is the best explanation of load average I can give my boss.
