The root problem is that not all the system APIs necessary to implement replacements for these CMS-based widgets are published interfaces (eg, how DIRECTXA does it's magic, interfaces with *CCS to do terminal management for line-mode and console connections, etc). We have implementations (and sometimes source) that describe how to do these things, but they're IBM licensed material, and can't be used to build stuff like this. The system management APIs are a start, but not until they get some exploitation tools built around them to make them easily usable will we see real tooling get built. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
