As was pointed out, it was Robert (Nix), not Richard. (I've been working with another Novell employee quite a bit this week named Richard, so I'm not surprised I made the mistake.) Sorry, Robert. Robert's email was sent to the list, as I and at least one other person saw it. If you're not getting all the email from the list, it could be due to spam filters at your end of things. I know I have to periodically release mailing list emails from Novell's filtering tool. One way to verify might be to look at the mailing list archives. They're not updated in real time, but they should be good for looking back at things on prior days.
