>I have JAVA code that 'could' run on a zAAP and I don't have to change my JAVA
code to make it zAAP eligible then isn't that the same as it 'happen just
because you have JAVA and a zAAP' ? I am assuming that I (sysprog
or applications) don't need to do anything to specify what work is zAAP
eligible and that if I am configured correctly (hardware and code levels)

Yes, but only under appropriate levels of z/OS (and only z/OS).
I guess I'm not getting my point across.
zIIPs and zAAPs only work under z/OS.
It may appear to 'just happen', but my point is it won't 'just happen' under
zLINUX, which was the starting point of the thread.

I NEVER said it wouldn't work under zOS; I did say it won't (and most likely
never will) work under zLINUX.

Since this thread started with the premise of using them under zLINUX, any
discussion of what we can do under zOS is moot (and irrelevent).
