Argh--this is due to a problem with the otherwise-excellent Vista (not Microsoft Vista!) emulator I use. When I download a file, it puts a trailing x'1A' on it, and sometimes, well, I forget to delete it. If you use KEDIT, just edit the file and FILE it; unless you've tinkered with KEDIT options, it'll be fine then. Otherwise just whack that last line. A MAILABLE file is just a Rexx program with a big comment on the end. The comment contains the payload. So you should be able to download it as just ASCII with no LRECL or other options and it should be fine. David, perhaps you can fix the copy on the website... Again, my apologies. ...phsiii ---------------------------------------------------------------------- For LINUX-390 subscribe / signoff / archive access instructions, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the message: INFO LINUX-390 or visit http://www.marist.edu/htbin/wlvindex?LINUX-390
