That document is what originally started me out on this thread. It suggested that bonding was possible witch a VSWITCH, but didn't provide any details. As various tests by Mark, Marcy and me have so far indicated it is in fact possible to do virtual bonding, but it does not seem to provide any benefit as the VSWITCH side does not know about either etherchanneling or LACP. Also the current level of the bonding driver precludes real balancing of outgoing data over the nics.
