Similar thinking here. I work part time at a small school. Until now,
when we wanted computers, I'd go to auction and buy a few. THe sort of
thing you folks cast off after about three years. Last time I want (must
be a good six months and more ago) we bought an assortment of DELL
GX2{4,6,7}s and HP Compaq EVOs.
When one broke, it went in the bin and I deployed another.
The nice Mr Rudd thought we (all schools) should have new computers: in
our case, those are the HP DC5850s I mentioned. New screens too. Now, I
suppose, when one breaks we should have it fixed.
