Assuming you're running the supplied SMFPROF, take a look at the "smffreq" variable setting. This may not be the day for it actually to do anything. Also, if you read the code, it's looking for a list of servers to be stacked and failing that looks in its reader for files coming from your racf server(s), that are sent when an smf disk files, to determine the server's (or servers') id(s).
