Sorry, it doesn't work either way :-(
Only change is that ignore does not work at all, so terminal output will show up
when you specify a valid device.
When specifying an invalid device you get nothing on the console, condev is 
obviously an invalid device here.
Well, RedHat is working on it and they have been able to reproduce the error.

Or....this could also be a codepage problem. The "|" should be "!" - I
guessed this was mangled in your mailer or during copy 'n paste from the
z/VM console. But maybe it's wrong in the parmfile?? (But if so -
changing only s/condev/9/ in the parmfile wouldn't help without fixing
the borken "!")
