That's not what I meant.  I meant for Steve to manually FTP into the FTP
server, cd to (whatever directory) and try to get (whatever file is
failing).  He will be able to see any FTP errors, being more revealing
that "No repository found."     (Does it mean a CD failed?  A GET failed
with file not found?  Or maybe the installer couldn't parse a PWD
response?)
