You don't need any particular file. Just the fact that you can get there at all, using the network information you were provided is the most important thing. If you can retrieve any of the files I listed previously, that's good enough. And if it turns out Bruce's HMC acts differently than yours, and the top-level directory of the DVD is _not_ at "/" then you can try and find out where it is and give that path to the installer.
