WMB aka IIB 9 guests are being cycled weekly here. They are not very well behaved. We use an in house written REXX to control the shutdown sequence and restart of the guest involved. We only IPL z/VM when we apply maintenance. We have gone more than a year without a z/VM IPL on many occasions. YMMV Doug
