I agree the MDISK is R/W to the Linux guest, so it is something happening
in Linux when the device is brought online. Can you check your UDEV rules
and see if there is one that would be associated with this device that
includes-- ATTR{readonly}="1" ?

When I configure device address 12c online it comes up ro. Why is this
occurring and how do I fix it ? I've deleted and recreated disk 12c
