The thing is, no-one wants to use x86 processors in embedded solutions; 
they're too big, too expensive, and take too much power. Processors such as 
the ARM or the M-Core can beat them on just about every point except 
compatibility with existing binaries, and that's not an issue for embedded 
platforms.

Most people seem to miss the fact that x86 processors aren't, in fact, very 
good...
