It's set up as 2 disks, a read-only A: drive (with command.com and
friends) and a read-write B: drive. It might well be possible to
put a different FS on all (or better) part of B:.

I was thinking it would be nice to create a filesystem which
would look like a regular (large) file under dos. You could
create it elsewhere, then download it in one chunk. 

Once you start talking about blowing a new rom, I'm inclined to
think you may as well look at other boards that are out there.
(Not that I'm any expert on this topic.)

The advantage of the v25 flashlite is that it's a $100 machine
that has a bios, runs runs dos 8086 things--and would be easy 
for many people to get running w/out a rom burner or specialized 
know-how.
