I could attempt a western digital port.  This is a really nice card that
is quite often associated with older systems.  This would have to wait
until I had some time though.

that would make this easier.  I too think that networking is an important
step to making ELKS useful.  Embedded systems are great, but they are much
more useful if they are networkable.
