Hello from Gregg C Levine usually with Jedi Knight Computers, USA
As I understand this gobblygook from those geeks, it is their name for the Linux-8086 list that is hosted for us, at Rutgers. The thing to do, is write to those jerks, that they do not know what they are talking about, and would they please cease, and desist from this interference.

What about the low end embedded applications.  Say for instance a small PDA

type device.  Or my own application I have a mobile robotic platform with a

tight power budget and I have found an NEC V25 SBC to operate it (this board

draws 100mA).  The OS I will have a look at is going to be ELKS for its

small size and ability to run on an XT.  I challenge you to find me a 486 or

68000 SBC to match or better it...

While this project may only be for my benefit and is not a commercial

product I certainly expect it to further my career.

Regards,

Rod Boyce

That's not very funny. Of course the whole thing works ..

it's just that

i am unable to see much (any ?) use for it nowadays; it made

some sense

5 years ago but doesn't make any now.  It is good source to

learn OS

                basics from though.
