Hi,

A friend of mine recently suggested using Alan Cox' 2.2.13ac3 kernel
might fix the bp6 instability problems. His box is a web/news/whatever
server with uptimes well over a months, and no crash due to the bp6 it
would seem. I am giving it a try on my workstation:

arnaud@carrosse:~ > uname -a
Linux carrosse.frmug.org 2.2.13ac3 #3 SMP jeu fév 3 19:01:02 CET 2000 i686 unknown
arnaud@carrosse:~ > uptime
 12:25pm up 4 days, 9:13, 6 users, load average: 2.00, 2.06, 2.07

I would not call this conclusive yet, but I cross my fingers. Can
anyone provide some feedback about this kernel ?
