I use X very often and my system is very stable.

My System :

2 Celerons 366@550
192 MB RAM
1 Elsa Victory Erazor (Riva128)
2 NCR810
1 SB32 PnP
1 NE2000 PCI

Kernel 2.2.13 (SuSe Kernel)

Most of the system is running from /dev/hde (Maxtor UDMA66) but there
are also Parts on /dev/sdx and /dev/hda.

In the last 4 weeks (at this time i bought this system) there wer no locks,
and rc5 is running all the time.

Gruss,
                Gereon

If the box says `Windows 95 or better'', it should run on Linux, right?
