But the times before the reboot wasnŽt necassary, the system never locks.

Maybe its a problem with AGP, my Riva128 Card is PCI, the newer
generation of video cards need more power and this may cause the
failures ? 

IŽ m running Xfree 3.3.6 but 3.3.5 wasnŽt unstable too...

lmsensors says :

48 C for the board 
and each CPU about 44 C

the voltages are :

Mobo : 12,15V / 4,77V
CPUs : 2,00 V / 2,00 V

the cpus are running with 5,5 x 100 MHz

If the box says `Windows 95 or better'', it should run on Linux, right?
