 I would say that the 192MB of RAM helps. Most of my hangs/bad performance
are when I'm doing very heavy builds, in X, with AOLserver/mysql/apache in
the background. My poor system only has 92MB. For a while, I'd a load of a
256MB DIMM, and there wasn't a problem for ten days.

 Could be that swapping, while the CPUs are going full belt, causes
problems too.
