Ok, I guess it's my turn to chime in ;-)

I've been running a VooDoo 3 2000 APG without any ill effects

I have a Ensonic ES1371 in slot 2 and a 3Com 905b in slot 4

Everything is stable running 2.2.15pre series kernels.
I am not using the HTP366 controller, and do not use the NOAPIC boot parm

One thing is have noticed is that I have not been able to control what
interrupt are assigned to the various pci slots.
I need to do this because I have to Dual-Boot to do CAD work on NT. I would
like to use my sound card on NT, but NT doesn't share interrupts well. The
Bios seems to ignore what I tell it to do.

I've turned off the assign interrupt to USB and VGA without any ill effects,
but I'm not sure how this will effect both OS's. I'm getting ready to move
my USB scanner from a Win98 machine to this one, so I'm a bit concerned how
this will effect USB on Linux. Does anyone have any experience with this.
i.e., do interrupts need to be assigned to VGA and USB for them to work
properly.

Thanks,
Craig
