1.  After a halt, the SRM (?) goes into a fast, endless loop of
    complaining that: TU PCI bus Error :CSR5: ffffffff

2.  Either FreeBSD disklabel does something really ugly, or it puts
    some DOSish junk on the disk, or it simply is not on good terms with
    Linux fdisk;  They do not see each other's partitions at all.  I
    tend to blame Linux fdisk because: a) I am known to be a FreeBSD
    bigot (I deny the allegation) :-) and b) Linux fdisk produces some
    odd numbers.  Looks like it is truncating data.

So, how do I install something useful that will not self-clobber in few
days?
