yes. We've just fettled this driver to remove the horrid bodges and make it
integrable with the 2.2 source tree. Tak-Shing posted it to the -arm-kernel
list on 2000.12.21. I assume Russell will integrate this in due course.

Please check it out - it works on the two different vintages of EtherM
hardware we have here and should be fine.

No, because the etherM hardware has the registers laid out differently from a
typical 8390 setup (which means you can't compile a kernel that will support
etherM _and_ etherH at the same time, but as they go in the same slot and
there is only one of these this doesn't seem like an unreasonable
restriction. The alternative would be to have two versions of the 8390 code
which were almost all identical - which seemed a waste of kernel space.)
