Ok guys, calm down a bit. As has been already stated, new ideas and proposals are always welcome here. But it's also good to remember that creating a widely used API is a bigger task than writing a technically good API. You need a bit of social engineering to get people on your side, or even just to get them to go through your proposal in detail. Downplaying the meaning of previously done work of this group (search for "LADSPA" at www.eca.cx/lad and you'll get thousands of matches) is not a good way to start your campaign.;) Anyways, new ideas (and members!) are always welcome.
