Following the demise of Lucid Inc, Lucid Emacs was renamed to XEmacs.
If you check my X-Mailer: headers, you will notice that the name
`Lucid' hasn't been entirely dropped (some elisp code still checks the
value of the `emacs-version' variable for the string "Lucid" in to
determine whether it is running under GNU Emacs or XEmacs).
