I would not like my query to go in that direction. I after using Slackware
for long time has been familier with configuration files and installation/
upgradation of new packages i.e. RH 5.0 uses bind 4.9.6 while I wanted to
upgrade to bind 8...Then some time remove unwanted package..
        I would also love to have Debian in third machine..

I have seen that but really was interested in putting 'ifconfig' statement
as my netcfg command giving some error.
