Hi people!
Sorry if this is an offtopic question, but I don�t know where else to look
for... if you guys know where to find some info on this, please point my
way.
I have a PII PC with Redhat 6.0 with a SiS6326 card and an AcerView 34T
display. I feed all the correct data to the Xconfigurator utility but when
I start XWindows in 800x600 the screen flickers, and if I use 1024x768,
which is BTW the resolution I NEED, it flickers way TOO MUCH!
I�m in despair with this, cause I haven�t been able to sort that out...
I know the monitor and the card supports that cause I had previously
installed Win98 there and set the res to over 1024x768 and worked
just fine... so how come Linux won�t allow me???? It�s sad to hear
I can�t!!!
So please, if anyone could give me a hand or has a similar working
environment, let me know. Additional info will be highly appreciated too.
