Help! new modem with diald. everything was great with the old modem -
internal - except the speed (14.4). I have a shiny new fast modem, working
well with diald, except that there are huge pauses when getting a lot of
information - big graphics, etc. I imagine this has something to do with
flow control, but I'm a bit new to modems on anything but windows, so...any
ideas? point me somewhere? I figure i need to make a custom profile for
the modem's non-volatile mem, but I can't seem to find any info about this.
Help...if you need .conf info, i'd be happy to send it along..
