I am have trouble running diald 0.99.1 with the ethrtap device.

The following error messages come up in /var/log/messages

'tcp.ssl'. Not a known tcp service port.

Oct 10 00:27:21 toshiba diald[852]: Connect script failed.
Oct 10 00:27:22 toshiba diald[852]: Delaying 30 seconds before clear to dial.

I dont know what the problem is. When I use diald with the sl0 device
instead of tap0, I dont get this problem.

Another thing is that the ethertap device tap0 is set to irq 5, can I set
it to something else? My sound card is on that!

Thanks in advance.
