Has anyone successfully gotten diald compiled from source to work with the
pppd and chat bundled w/ a fresh install of RedHat 6.1?
Using the slip interface pppd hangs during startup from diald.
Using ethertap chat complains abouy being unable to get terminal
parameters.
I originally thought I was related to my ipmasq usage. But disabling
ipmasq doesn't help at all.
Using RedHat's ifup ppp0 works like a charm w/ and w/o ipmasq.
