I went on this quest for 0.99, too, and was off-handedly told "oh, it's on
sunsite".
Well, it's NOT on at least 75% of the sunsite "mirrors" I searched through.
However, I *did* find it by going to:
http://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch/cgi-bin/search/ftp/nph-find-file
and searching for "diald" - which yielded the link:
ftp://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch/mirror/SuSE/suse/i386/6.2/full-names/i386/dial
d-0.99.1-10.i386.rpm
and
ftp://sunsite.cnlab-switch.ch/mirror/SuSE/suse/i386/6.2/full-names/src/diald
-0.99.1-10.src.rpm
Hurray for the Swiss!

By the way, I still don't have things working. Anyone care to contribute the
ipchains set-up and tear-down scripts that you are apparently supposed to
tell diald to run (via ipup and ipdown entries in diald.conf) when the link
is set up and taken down, in order to get the ip-forwarding routing set up
correctly?

Sheesh - Linux, the write-it-yourself OS!

Please can you tell me where you downloaded diald?

I cannot find 0.99 release at all.

I can receive it via e-mail too.

TIA

regards
