There is no Configuration Setting using the
Network Control Applet to disable/enable
NETBIOS Name Resolution via DNS.

It would appear that as part of the Standard
DNS Configuration, Windows Enables
NETBIOS Resolution via DNS.

I myself don't have a problem with this situation.
Someone on the List was complaining about
his Windows Machines causing his DIALD
to activate for a DNS Name Resolution Request
which he was not expecting.  I was merely trying
to explain where this Request was originating.

I  thought possibly that NETBIOS Name Resolution
could be disabled without affecting the Standard
DNS Configuration.
