My windows machine has a hosts file that map names to IP addressed. In my
lmhosts file, do I use the same names as that used in the hosts file or do I
use the netbios name (assuming they are different). I plan on making the
names consistent anyway but this might explain some strange behavior.

Assuming that all my machines on my small home network are explicitly named
in the hosts and lmhosts file, would WindBloze still try to do broadcasts?
Or would that effectively stop the broadcasts (and obviate the need for a
diald filter)?
