There is a terrific IBM RedBook on setting up a Samba Server using several
different Linux distribution.  The RedBook is avaliable in PDF format and has
everything you need just to get started.  Try http://www.redbooks.ibm.com.
The title of the book is "Implementing Linux in your Network using Samba".
