Diald seems to get stuck if the modem connection is broken.
The "trigger" message appears in the logs, but it doesn't dial out.
I can "unstick" it using killall -2 diald as root, but it's a pain.
If I wanted to su every time I needed to call out, I'd use ppp-on! :)
