I seem to have a similar problem with diald-0.99.2. Have you used
any earlier versions? Do they exhibit the same behaviour?
My problem arose when I physically disconnected the modem (i.e.
flicking the on/off switch). I think this is a bug and I reported
it as such over a month ago. I'm not sure what is happening here.
Maybe I should take a peek at the source.
FWIW, I don't have this problem with diald-0.99.1. You might
want to try that.
