I've had what sounds like the same problem with .99.1 on RH 5.2
(2.0.36). At first I thought it would happen after a few days of
operation but more recently I noted that it always stops working after
a failed call. So, I've got a cron job that runs 3 times a day to
kill/restart diald. Not pleasant, but since it usually happens at times
when I'm either not home or am asleep it doesn't bother me much.
