My problem in short is:

My chat script works fine, PPP starts at both ends, but no link is established.

My system is: P166 w/64MB RAM, stock RedHat V6.1, diald - CVS 
download  from sourceforge.net today (1/20/2000) that is to say 0.99.3

My scripts are Mike's with the ISDN parts removed and the startup script 
moved to /etc/rc.d/init.d.
