I just installed diald and have it working where if I try to telnet
somewhere out of my local network it will start up the modem. The modem
dials up and connects fine, but disconnects only a few seconds later.
I'm guessing there is something wrong with my connect script, or
possibly the interaction with pppd. I'm running RH6.1. Does anyone
have any suggestions of log files or anything else that I can look at to
try to diagnose my connecting problems?
