It's normally set up in your init scripts. The file name will change
depending on the distribution. On the boxes here it's set in
/etc/rc.d/init/network or /etc/rc.d/rc.network.
Note: RedHat actually issues the command in /etc/rc.d/init/network but that
file checks the values in /etc/sysconfig/network do you edit
/etc/sysconfig/network to read FORWARD_IPV4="yes" ("true" will also work)
