I´m using a 16MB CompactFlash here and use minixfs. The reason is that
this fs seems not to waste that much space on disk as ext2fs for
administrative data. Our device is running with ro-mounted fs, having
all relevant r/w-data in ramdisk. There is only one exception of this,
when having to change persistent configuration data. Then the fs is
remountet rw and sync, data is written, and again remounted ro. Works
fine here.
