Hi,

Your mail is very vertical, so to speak, and quite hard to find
the relevant info in it.

As far as I understood, you seem to have the virtual IP on both
nodes, right? That should never happen under normal circumstances.
Do you see anything in the logs? Can you try stopping the
heartbeat on both nodes then making sure that the virtual IP is no
present on either node, and finally starting the heartbeats? If
the same thing happens, then something is very wrong with your
setup/software. Again, there should be clues in the logs.

No, the thing should have nothing to do with your other resource
(rsynclient) taking some time to run.
