In order to update the software of a resource without failing over the group, I move resource to "unmanaged" state and restart it and return it to be managed. I noticed that although the resource is "unmanaged", after I stop the resource, the fail count is increased by 1, no matter how much time I wait before stopping the resource, or how long the resource is actually stopped. I am using version 5.1.23-18. Is that an expected behavior? Is there another way to restart a resource?
